When I met Moria Vaingoltz she was Maria, and it was an elevating experience just speaking with her and introducing her to our conversion course. When she signed up for the course she wrote “I am not doing this for bureaucracy reasons since I am already registered as a Jew in the Ministry of Interior. I am not going in search of my inner self, as I am already ignited by a Jewish flame in my heart. I have small David Stars running through my veins but unfortunately they aren’t Kosher – which is why I am here”
